About me

I established Nomad Muay Thai, my own Club, back in 2015 when I was living in Myanmar - at the time I was under Anderson Bushi Kai (ABK) and got permission and approval from ABK Founder Malcolm Anderson to do so. When I established Nomad Muay Thai, I chose a deity from Thai Buddhism as my logo for the Club - Phra Lahoo, a protector demon who is widely worshiped in Thailand - in Sak Yant.

Prior to this I had ran Clubs in 3 different locations in SE Qld under Malcolm's Club name (Bloodaxe) : Bloodaxe - Nth Stradbroke Island (1994-1996), Bloodaxe - Loganholme (1996 - 1998) and Bloodaxe - Woodford (2000-2005). I also ran 2 Clubs in SE Asia : Bloodaxe - Ha Noi, in Viet Nam (2011-2014) and Bloodaxe - Yangon, in Myanmar (2014-2015). Nomad Muay Thai ran from 2015 to 2017 in the same location in Yangon, Myanmar.

All up I was with ABK, under the ABK Bloodaxe umbrella, for 22 years from 2000 through until early 2022.

Prior to this I was with the Bob Jones Corporation (BJC) for 9 years from 1991 through to 2000 - under Raiders (1991-1992) and then Bloodaxe (1992-2000).

In 2017 I returned to Australia from living in Asia for 7 ½ years and resumed my own personal training at Bloodaxe until early 2022.

I separated from ABK in early 2022 and established Nomad Combat Systems, with Nomad Muay Thai being the foundation Club.
